2. Please check that all passports for those traveling in your group are valid – passports must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of return.
3. Be sure to pack an international power adapter that works in Italy.
4. Let your credit card company know that you will be traveling.
5. Schedule an international phone plan for your trip.

Car Rental

We highly recommend renting a car while you are here for your convenience, as taxis are not common in the immediate area. Both the Florence and the Rome airports offer car rentals. Italian roads and highways are very similar to those in the U.S. and while we don’t advise driving in the larger cities if you can avoid it, we leave it up to you! There will be parking at the venue for you during the wedding.

Please click the link below to get your international driver's permit. This will translate your ID information which will be required to rent a car.

It is possible to take public transportation to get to the area. You can use Google maps to plan your route, and check for the connections you will need to take. The nearest railway station is Grosseto.

Again, we do recommend renting a car as it requires less coordinating, but we leave this up to you!
